Lung
The lung section will focus on the report terms that appear constantly in chest CT, screening workflows, and oncology follow-up. EnginRad will use this section to explain common findings in plain language, then connect them to follow-up rules, AI tasks, and imaging workflow.
Likely first concept pages
- Pulmonary nodule
- Ground-glass opacity
- Lung mass
- Consolidation
- Pleural effusion
Engineer-first angles
- why thin-section CT and reconstruction choices matter
- how follow-up recommendations affect informatics pipelines
- nodule measurement consistency across exams
- CAD, detection, and screening workflow relevance
Why this section matters
Lung imaging produces a large amount of repetitive but important language. A technical reader often needs to know whether a report is talking about a small screening nodule, an inflammatory opacity, or a stronger cancer concern, and what that means for tracking, comparison, and downstream data use.
